Garden
Here are a few pictures of the raised beds. I got the beds from Amazon. Assembly was easy. I then had to get dirt to fill them. It took 9 - 25 pound bags of dirt for one square. That was 36 bags of dirt and 4 trips to Home Depot to get the beds filled.
I bought some plants at the Florissant Valley of Flowers craft fair where I had a booth. I got zucchini, cucumbers, cheery tomatoes, big boy tomatoes, banana pepper, jalapeƱo, and sweet red pepper.
I got from home depot some Beef Steak tomatoes, Green Bell Pepper, Basil, parsley, mint, thyme, and rosemary.
You can't see them yet but I have planted onions, beets and carrots in this empty looking bed.
This is pepper plant with a flower. You can also see a maple tree that is trying to grow in the garden. I have had to pull a bunch of them. My Sister and Niece got on the roof to clear out the forest of maple trees that was growing in the gutters.
A bell pepper plant with a blossom bud. You can see the onions behind it and behind them you can see the zucchini. The vines did not grow much from when I planted them a couple of weeks ago but they have blossoms. The little plants around the zucchini are radishes. I was reading that radishes are good companion plants for squash and melons.
