House Hunting = Stress

House hunting has totally got me stressed.

Change can be exciting and hard at the same time. I like seeing new things, new places and new adventures. It is all exciting and I feel that this is mostly because you have the familiar of home waiting for you, a cozy cocoon waiting to wrap you up in all that is know and loved.

Trying to find the perfect new place to become that place of warm familiar comfort is a bit overwhelming. What if you choose the wrong place and you never feel at home again. I look at all these housed and try to picture living there. Sometimes I can't. Sometimes I can but not with my things. Sometimes I feel that I would have to change to live in that house. Sometimes I feel that I have to change to be able to live anywhere else. And if I move will I still be me? Have I been settled in too long?

And then there is the disappointment of finding a great house and having someone else get their offer in 45 minutes before you do.

45 Minutes!!!!

This literally happened. On Monday we saw a lovely house and every liked it. The agent had one more that she wanted to show us so we drove there to look at that house and were all saying it is nice but no this is not the one.

We get in our cars and are ready to head out when our agent gets out of her car and holds up her finger to us to wait. She is like I can't believe this. She was on the phone with the listing agent and the buyers had accepted an offer just 45 minutes ago.

She was not pleased. This is the second time she has shown us a house that the listing agent had not told her had offers on it. Both of which we really liked.

Sorry for the rant.

Hopefully I will have better news on this front soon

Thanks for stopping by.
